Background and Education

Dr. Narmien Murdock was raised and trained on the East Coast. She spent her early life in Connecticut before moving to Boston for undergraduate and medical training. Dr. Murdock graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a major in Human Physiology. During her sophomore year, she was selected for early acceptance into the Boston University School of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After medical school, Dr. Murdock completed her intern year at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She then relocated to Washington, D.C. to complete residency training in Ophthalmology at Georgetown University, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

  • Boston University: Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology Major (summa cum laude)
  • Medical School: Earned her MD from the Boston University School of Medicine via MMEDIC Program (cum laude)
  • Specialty Training: Completed a highly competitive residency in ophthalmology at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC
