BOTOX is used to soften a particular type of wrinkle caused by the muscular activity in your face. Your facial muscles move when you make certain expressions. Over time, this muscle movement causes a wrinkle to form where the skin is being folded together. For example, lines across your forehead are formed when you raise your eyebrows in surprise or when you furrow them. BOTOX can be performed many different ways. Not every patient is treated the same way. Facial movement after treatment may range from minimal to completely natural and still achieve a more youthful look. Not every doctor injects the same way. Come see what we can do for you.

There are several advantages for using laser technology in cosmetic facial treatments. These technologies are minimally invasive. Used alone they are not surgical procedures, and do not require incisions, sutures or general anesthesia. Their non-surgical nature also means they have little to no downtime associated with them. After most of these treatments, you will not have to stay home from work or wait for a period of healing to be complete.
IPL laser technology is used for a variety of conditions, including:
- Softening the appearance of age spots, sun damage and wrinkles
- Reducing hyperpigmentation
- Softening the appearance of redness and rosacea
- Vascular lesions
- Chronic dry eye (meibomian gland dysfunction)
CO2 laser technology is used for a variety of treatments including:
- Skin tightening and resurfacing
- Collagen regeneration
- Scar reduction
- Benign and precancerous skin lesions
- Xanthelasma removal
Why choose Chemical Peels?
At the Aesthetic Spa, our effective chemical peels target solutions utilizing the strongest ingredients combined to produce younger, healthier looking skin with a natural glow. Peels are minimally invasive, and the amount of redness and skin flaking that occurs after your peel depends on its strength. These treatments can be performed alone or in combination with other aesthetic procedures to achieve your cosmetic goals.
Facial Benefits of Chemical Peels
Our physician-exclusive line of chemical peels are designed to address skin issues such as:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage
- Excess oil
- Intermittent and permanent redness
- Dilated facial veins
- Uneven texture
- Environmental damage
- Oxidative stress
Why Choose Microdermabrasion or Dermaplaning?
Microdermabrasion is a form of manual exfoliation which sweeps away dead skin cells from the epidermis. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow, cleans the pores and removes debris.
Dermaplaning is the controlled scraping of the skin using a sterile, surgical blade for the removal of keratinized cells and fine vellous hair on the outer layer of the skin. One can expect to see an instant improvement in skin texture and tone, while the long-term effects are increased cell turnover, minimized appearance of fine lines and the removal of facial hair which creates the perfect canvas for makeup application
Microneedling, also referred to as collagen induction therapy, is used to treat scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone/texture. The use of small needles administered through a handheld electronic pen reach the papillary and reticular dermis in a purely mechanical way. Each individual microlesion is perceived by the skin as injury, but because the epidermal barrier is minimally disrupted, scarless would healing occurs. This treatment delivers results that complement and, in some cases, replace more invasive treatments while showing less side effects and shorter downtime. The microneedling services at The Morgenstern Center for Orbital and Facial Plastic Surgery can diminish or even erase scars and other facial blemishes. Benefits of Microneedling
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that gives your skin much of its strength and elasticity. When you get a cut or scrape on your body, collagen is one of the things that begins the healing process. A microneedling device accelerates the production of collagen on the surface of the skin. By pricking the skin, it causes collagen to build up, improving the skin’s appearance.
Microneedling can treat the following conditions:
- Scars caused by acne or chicken pox
- Smile lines
- Crow’s feet
